That's a great line of products, I haven't tried it but some friends of mine did and they were really excited about it. I hope it comes soon in our stores. I have an Adjustable Bed that I bought from an antique shop, it looks like it's from the '60 and I'd love to put it to use, so I think this will do the trick.

Brian I agree, tung oil is definitely not for use on finished furniture! We clearly state that it is for unfinished or raw wood. Thanks for the heads up!

You have a list of impressive restoration projects. I plan to try Remax for an old desk that is sitting in my garage. Not so impressive of a project, but I hope the end result will impress.

Tung oil caused very serious damage to l8th furniture at a major museum
some years ago. It made national news!! Tung oil, once applied, causes wood to become dark and it is irreversible. The curator of this museum, the name escapes me, was not aware of this, and a bit of history is being destroyed.
Tung oil is bad news. As for less valuable and newer items I have no knowledge as to the effects of Tung Oil. Trust me, this product requires a
warning for anyone applying to very valuable early furniture.
