Well Made and Easy to Assemble!
I just finished assembling my third over-the-door- rack. They go together so easily and are very nicely made. This item goes over the door and the door closes easily….finally a place to have guests put their towels. When I don’t have guests, I will just store this in the closet. It’s perfect! Every piece fit perfectly ….directions were simply photos (my favorite kind) and this really solves a problem…..where to put all those wet towels!!

Excellent Tool
This is one of the best tools I have ever had. Operates flawlessly every time. I use Bostich nails/brads because they are easier to find (all sizes up to 2″) and the nailer works perfectly. So far so EXCELLENT!
The price was more than right. This is an excellent deal. I used Milwaukee brads for it, and no jams so far. It would be nice if it had a better tip on it though. Comparing price and value with other brands, I would buy this one again. Up until 6 months ago I never knew Hitachi made good tools. Hitachi is my preferred brand for pneumatic right now. The only guns I probably wouldnt buy are their framing nailers, only because the PC is so much cheaper and does the job so well. Buy this gun, you can’t go wrong. Along with the tip, the thing that really puzzles me is, I can go buy a $20 no name gun kit, and IT INCLUDES OIL IN THE CASE! (not to mention a couple thousand nails) Here I buy a Hitachi, and not a drop. How about including a small bottle of oil guys? The fifty cents it would cost the company would be well worth it to build greater brand loyalty.

great purchase for the price
i just got this set for my new apartment, and overall, i’m really happy with it. the knives are very sharp, ergonomically well designed, and look pretty on the counter. that being said, you should know that this set is not one of the higher quality henckels sets – a fact betrayed by the price. they are very light and somewhat delicate, so a bit difficult to weild with control, and poorly suited to cutting through tougher material such as bones. of course, some may find light knives convenient, but i would have preferred heavier blades and handles, especially on the bigger knives. the santoku knife was the most disappointing because it was thin and very light. the rest are fine as they are, and cut with great precision, especially given the price. there are a few of extra slots in the block, which, while strange, came in handy for my old homeless knives. also, the set pretty muuch covers the range of needs and preferences for cutting absolutely anything (except bone-in chicken/fish, since the knives are a bit delicate). if you’re not looking for a lifetime keeper set, then this is a great set for you. i really love mine, and plan on keeping it until i can splurge on a $$$$ set.

Good buy for the money
I’ve had these knives for several weeks now and have to say I’m impressed. I did quite alot of searching before settling on these-and I’m glad I did. The quality is excellent,they are sharp and easy to use, and the set-though there are a few empty slots to add to it later-came with every type of knife I need. I pride myself in my cooking-I make everything possible from scratch and cook several meals a day, and I can’t imagine a scenario where I’d say “if I only had another knife”.

I see myself getting many years of use out of these. They come with a rod sharpener so that I never have to see them dull, or send them in anywhere to be sharpened. The block is sturdy and looks good with my kitchen decor.

I was leaning toward cutco brand before I decided on these, but I just couldn’t justify the price of cutco. I’m not disappointed, I think I got more than my money’s worth out of these.

One thing I have to add about other reviews I read before I bought these….I almost didn’t get these because so many people complained until I saw that most negative comments were about the rust factor. ANY chef’s quality knife is going to rust if you don’t take care of it, it’s actually a sign of the type of metal that good knives are made of.
If you are looking for a set of knives that you can throw haphazardly into the dishwasher, or leave lying around in the sink-these are not for you!!!

These must be hand washed after use and dried completely by hand with a cloth-that’s why you see professional cooks constantly wiping their knives on an apron or towel as they work.
For best results, you’re going to have to sharpen these about every half dozen uses, especially if you are cutting something like tomatoes-world’s worst wear on any knife-of if you’re cutting board is made of anything besides wood. It doesn’t hurt them to sharpen them as needed, and better safe than sorry-a dull knife is a dangerous knife.

An experiment gone right…
About six months ago, I was walking through the discount knife section of a local department store when I saw this line’s santoku and vegetable petty knife on sale for $20. In the world of cutlery, $20 is nothing, so I bought them just to see what it was like. It quickly became one of my favorite knives in my kitchen. The factory cutting edge is a little lame and overall the line feels too light to do much heavy cutting work (i.e. frozen meats, chicken bones, or thick vegetables). On a positive note, with some time and love, the edge can be ground down to be extremely sharp (enough so that I use it to cut tuna for sushi in my restaurant). Like any knife that I like, I take it to my restaurants kitchen and try it out to see how many days it can go before I need to regrind the edge. Surprisingly, it held up for an entire week without needing to be resharpened. In short, for the money, you would be hard-pressed to find a better knife.

Less expensive then all previous purchases
Just don’t forget to buy some charcoal pads along with these filters.
You can wash the old pads with dish soap but hardly worth the trouble and they shrink some. They probably loose some functionality in the wash also.

holmes filters
I use this air cleaner near a wood stove and it does a great job of filtering out the dust and soot. These filters last quite a while because of the prefilter so they are a good value.

Mediocre at best
I picked this up for $40 on sale in a local store. It’s adequate for most tasks, but no better.

The battery can only be charged when it’s plugged into the drill, so you can’t alternate between two to keep working. It doesn’t have a variable speed setting, so controlling the speed when driving screws is hard. The battery capacity seems small, plus there’s no charge level indicator on the device or charger, so you don’t know when it’s fully recharged. Finally, the RPM is very low compared to equivalents–getting through steel is going to take you a while.

If you can get it on sale for a reasonable price, and don’t want to do too many adventurous things with a power drill, consider giving it a look.

Great drill for the price

I was looking for something cheap as my first drill. From checking many different stores and drills, this was the best choice for the money. I used this successfully for installing 3 over-the-range microwaves. I bought large Irwin drill bits to cut big holes through drywall and cabinetry, and this drill performed fine. This also
saves you a ton of time having to use a screwdriver to assemble something.

FYI: The 20 accessories that come with this drill are drill bits and screwdriver bits. They are of good quality and that alone saves you some $10-$15 bucks from having to buy it separately with another drill.

This is not a hammer drill so you will not be able to drill through concrete or other strong material. Some places of drywall was difficult for me to drill through, but with maximum drill power and forward-force I was able to make it through.

The battery lasts well for me, one thing that is good is to keep charging it in between working, or while you are taking 30mins for a lunch break. It held its charge for over 2 weeks when I had it in storage between uses.

One suggestion is to have some kind of indicator to let you know when it’s fully charged. There are no lights whatsoever to tell you it’s charging or it’s got a charge. But if you do it like me and plug it in the night before working then you’re fine.

Again, for $50 bucks shipped you can’t beat this drill. If you’re looking for the best then go for DeWalt, but if you need something around the house, or maybe helping out a neighbor install whatever, this is an excellent choice.

Not pleased with this product
Very disappointed with this product. The drill is the smallest that B&D produces, under powered. The battery may be fine but the charger is a waste. It is a plug in adapter that actually plugs into the wall and drill, not a stand alone charger. Without the drill available, you can not charge the battery. No lights to signal when it is charged. It has very few (none) features that one would desire in a drill. I have the B&D set that includes drill, circular saw, TWO batteries, DUAL battery charger and a jig saw. Step up to a better package !!

Far Better Humidor than the Price Would Suggest
After reading reviews for this and other humidors from the same manufacturer, I expected to receive a good looking box with a malfunctioning hygrometer and a great deal of fine tuning required to achieve the desired humidity. However, after following very simple directions for calibrating the hygrometer (put it in a zip lock bag with a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of water for a few hours), the device read exactly at the level expected.

The newly manufactured humidor was a little dryer than ideal (50% humidity) upon arrival, so I followed the manufacturer’s suggestion and placed a shot glass of water in the box, allowing it to season overnight. The humidity rose to the desired (70%) humidity level and has stayed there with periodic charging (a few minute soaking ever week or two) of the element that came with the box. Within a couple of weeks, once dried out cigars that I had stored badly were restored to their original moisture content. The scent of the reconstituted cigars and the humidor’s cedar liner are immediate evident when opening the box. There is no need for any of the other gels, beads or other advertised moisture balancing devices to make this product work exactly as advertised.

The glass top and exterior hygromerter both add interest and functionality to the humidor and are worth the few extra dollars over the more stripped down product versions. If you have a few dozen cigars, this is a very elegant and cost-efficient way to store them.

Great Quality for the Price
The Capri Glass Top Humidor, is one very nice humidor for not a lot of money. It is actually far better than I imagined at this price point.

The finish is about the same as Bombay Company furniture; that means very nice clean smooth finish over heavy stain on clear wood. Nobody would ever mistake this for a fine furniture finish, but it looks nice all the same. The top has a glass insert that is very heavy. So when you lift the lid, this thing feels very expensive and solid (remember guys love heavy and hydraulic things). The lid seals very tightly so there is virtually no cedar odor outside the humidor. The interior is finished with nice smooth knot free cedar. There is one movable divider.

Included with the humidor, a nice dial hygrometer with brass ring, a humidifier disk, a brass name plate for engraving, and an instruction sheet. Pretty darn simple, exactly what you would expect.

The instructions are excellent and crystal clear. Add one of these, DryMistat HumidiTube Cigar Tube Humidifier, Single Tube, and controlling humidity is almost bullet proof.

For the person with a nice small collection of cigars, or the occaisonal smoker, this is just about the perfect humidor. The humidor is about the total size of three wooden cigar boxes. It is discreet, well made, and a nice size.

The glass top Milano is the best humidor I have ever owned. Keeps in the humidity like a champ. Plus, I had free shipping with Prime. I almost feel guilty.

Works as advertised. Very nice bright light.
1 reviewer is mistaken. It clearly states that it will be activated by motion and heat. It is NOT photo activated. I did buy another product from a different vendor that cost a bit more that IS motion and Photo (will not turn on during daylight)sensitive. My experience (I bought a total of 4 lights)with this 2 pack 10 LED light has been fantastic. It is perfect for garages and closets. They have been in operation for a month now and are working perfectly with no indication of battery drain. I am buying another set today. If you need a light that is Photo and Motion activated, expect to pay about 10 dollars more for ONE light.

Not exactly as described, but adequate for the purpose
I bought two of these lights (if you only need one, at this writing the same two sellers offer these lights singly: Wireless Motion Sensor Light – 10 Super-Bright LED – Install Anywhere in 30 Seconds!). While not precisely as described, they get the job done (or at least have so far).

Pluses: bright light from the 10 LEDs, low drain on batteries, no wiring needed.

Minuses: in my experience, the sensor range is much less than the description states (I figure three to four feet); seem to be cheaply made (in China, if that matters to you); the three-position switch (off/constant-on/motion-sense) seems cheap and is positioned such that it’s hard to move, which may or may not be an issue for you (if you’re leaving it permanently set to sense motion, it won’t matter); in one of my two units, the three-position switch was wired backward relative to the labeling, an indication of poor quality control; as other reviewers have noted, (1) there is no “daylight off” function (except to move the three-position switch to off, which is a nuisance), and (2) there doesn’t seem to be any heat sensing.

All in all, not a purchase I’m sorry I made. For my use, they’re adequate. For some, the negatives may outweigh the good price.

Great under stairs light!!!
Perfect for when you do not have a plug or existing light available. Used them in the closet(pantry) under the stairs and they light up enough for me to find what I need. They turn on with motion and turn off after about 30 seconds of no motion. It is not advertised as being photo sensitive as one reviewer said. These lights are wonderful…am buying another set.

Grount Machine
I was looking for a tool that would reduce the time it would take to remove grout from my bathroom shower. The walls and ceilings have the 4x4in tiles and the floor has the 1in tiles. The grount blade works very well. One thing to note about the blade is that you can turn it in various configurations so you can also get the corners. Excellent design. I have had no problems with the the blade falling off as per other comments. The blades are about $7 cheaper from amazon than Home Depot. The vibrating action does not kick up a lot of dust as other circulating tools and it rarely skips so you do not damage the tiles. Overall, i would definitely recommend this tool to anyone.

Excellent item
Used it immediately upon receipt. Absolutely great tool for both homeowner and pro. DO not spend tons of cash on the “real name brand” as this Dremel version has all of the power and the tips and tools all fit both the Fein and the Dremel. I did a job that would have taken an hour trying to remove wood embedded in a window install in under a few minutes. Forget the time, the neat and clean cut and removal was great. Recommend this tool highly.

Great tool for in-place jobs
During my installation of a new screen door, I found that it wouldn’t be able to close without cutting out some of the wood frame all around the door. After chiseling the jamb a little at at time, I found that I would have to cut about 1/2″ off the jamb. I did one side in a couple hours and called it a night. That night I thought about the Fein MultiMaster 250 Start Power Sanding and Scraping/Cutting Tool info-mercial and how that tool could be a big help in cutting the jamb in-place since I didn’t want to remove it and didn’t have a table saw to cut it anyway. So, the next day I went to Home Depot and purchased the Dremel 6300-05 120-Volt Multi-Max Oscillating Kit for $109. I would have bought it from Amazon, but I wanted to finish installing the door right away.

USE: The Dremel is quite easy to use. The attachments are not quite “quick-change” since you have to use an (included) allen wrench to loosen a screw and place the “bit” under the washer and onto 12 pegs (which helps secure the “bit” into place) then tighten the screw to secure it. Cutting was fairly easy; I used the rectangular shaped wood and metal cutting tool, but it was a little difficult getting the “feel” of where it was cutting once it was into the wood a good amount. (Now that I think about it, perhaps I should have used the circular wood cutting tool or at least tried it, duh.) The tool is multi-speed (1-10) and cut through the wood pretty easily (on 8 speed). The sanding “bit” was a little more of a challenge to get on as it required the complete removal of the screw and washer assembly in order to get the sanding pad on. I don’t know if my pad is a little defective, but it was a little difficult to get it on the pegs. Once on , however, the tool did an excellent job of sanding the frame down to a nice smooth finish. (Although one corner of the “hook & loop” pad got totally wrecked – its a good thing there’s three corners to use.)

OVERVIEW: Overall, I was satisfied with the tool. It cut quite well and sanded great. Putting on the attachments was fairly easy, except for the sanding pad. The product description on this site says that it creates low dust, but it made a good amount of dust. Though that is expected when cutting wood with a high speed tool. And it also said that it was quiet, but the next time I use this tool, I am using earplugs because at that high rpm (close to 20,000) it pretty much screams when cutting and my ears felt like I was at a rock concert afterward. I would also recommend a dust mask and closed eye protection for the dust. For the price (cheaper than the competition), the Dremel did a good job and is, to me, a reputable, trusted brand.
