Tung oil caused very serious damage to l8th furniture at a major museum
some years ago. It made national news!! Tung oil, once applied, causes wood to become dark and it is irreversible. The curator of this museum, the name escapes me, was not aware of this, and a bit of history is being destroyed.
Tung oil is bad news. As for less valuable and newer items I have no knowledge as to the effects of Tung Oil. Trust me, this product requires a
warning for anyone applying to very valuable early furniture.

We have an antique oriental cabinet that we used the Ramax products on and it turned out wonderful, I can’t express how happy we have been with these products.

That's a great line of products, I haven't tried it but some friends of mine did and they were really excited about it. I hope it comes soon in our stores. I have an Adjustable Bed that I bought from an antique shop, it looks like it's from the '60 and I'd love to put it to use, so I think this will do the trick.

I have a 100 year old fireplace mantle that seems to have an original stain on it, but no top coat, no polyurethane. So, it has no shine at all. What product should I use? New Life Moisturizer?

Yes I would start with the wood moisturizer. It will bring the original finish back to life. You will be surprised at how beautiful it will look when you are done. Just follow the directions on the bottle and I believe you will like the results.
